Is your organization struggling to design impactful and meaningful program and product designs?

Invisible Light offers custom-designed courses for individuals and organizations seeking to strengthen their ability to embed research into practice and enhance program and product impact outcomes.

 

We provide a range of training topics offered in 1-day, 1-week, or 7-week formats, delivered in modular sessions typically lasting 1.5 or 3 hours. Each course is custom-tailored to the context, goals, and needs of your organization. Class sizes generally range from 15–30 participants.

 Training Topics Include:

​

• Conflict Mapping — How to identify macro- and micro-level conflict causes and triggers to inform policy, design, and operational decision-making.

• Context Analysis — How to interpret local cultural and conflict contexts; and work backward via culturally grounded communication and peacebuilding strategies to encode relevant practices and phenomena into program design.

• Asset Mapping — How to assess existing community and organizational resources that can be leveraged for program design, resilience, and sustainability.

• Needs Assessment — How to identify and prioritize community and population needs that require targeted interventions.

• Program Development — How to design evidence-based, contextually relevant peacebuilding, protection, and empowerment initiatives for specific populations.

• Monitoring, Evaluation, and Learning (MEL) — How to measure program effectiveness, strengthening feedback systems, and inform future implementation.

• Child-and Youth-Centered Research Design — How to use participatory media, communication, and technology tools to understand children’s media practices, interpretive processes, intergroup attitudes, experiences and opinions, and design and evaluate youth-led peacebuilding initiatives.

1. Select Topics – Choose from our suite of evidence-based, cutting-edge research frameworks.

2. Provide Context – Complete a brief questionnaire outlining your organization’s needs and goals.

3. Schedule Your Course – Submit your completed questionnaire along with preferred delivery dates.

4. Receive Your Proposal – IL responds with an offer for a tailor-made training course.

Contact us to learn about upcoming individual-based programs or opportunities to join existing group-arranged learning cohorts.

 

 Training Formats:

​

• Offered as 1-day, 5-day, or 7-week programs (with a one-week break).

• Delivered in person or virtually.

• Conducted with cohorts from one or more NGOs, or individual registrants.

Note: Fees exclude in-person travel, accommodation, or per diem costs for any in-country trainings requiring travel solely to perform training.

    1-Week Training (5 Days)

Fee per Organization: Flat fee (e.g., for closed cohorts)  

 

Includes:

• 5-day program delivery (based on a 6-hour training day)

• Preparation, planning, and coordination

• Communication and logistics management

• Training materials and resources

• Follow-up communication throughout program period

• Homework design, scoring, and feedback loop

 

Fees exclude in-person travel, accommodation, and per diem costs for in-country trainings, including travel time. All costs are subject to adjustment based on location, technical support, and content customization.

 

    6-Week Training  (7 weeks total, with 1-week break)

Fee per Participant: Based on group size

Fee per Organization: Flat organizational rate 

 

Includes:

• 30-day program delivery (based on 6-hour training day over 6 weeks, with one week break)

• Preparation, planning, and coordination

• Communication and logistics management

• Training materials and resources

• Follow-up communication throughout program period

• Homework design, scoring, and iterative feedback loop

 

Fees exclude in-person travel, accommodation, and per diem costs for in-country training and travel time to and in location. Custom pricing available for groups under 10 or over 30 participants. All costs subject to adjustment based on location, technical support, and content customization.
